The Sponsorship Process

For situations where taking a pet into your home may not be possible, we've made sponsoring Macon Animals easy.

Why Donate?

All cats and dogs require food, bathing, beds, leashes, supplies, treats and toys. Some animals require spay/neutering, micro-chipping and vaccinations. Here and there miscellaneous surgery and veterinary services are required which cost money. Collectively these things make the animals' lives better and more adoptable.

Meet the Animal(s)

Everyone working and volunteering with shelter and rescue dogs and cats is very friendly and loves meeting and talking with donors, like you. Call or text 239-595-0623 or 941-266-7084 to make an appointment or write to us here and we'll arrange a meeting with the animals of Macon County.

Submit Donation

Donations go to PAWSitive Shelter Volunteers. Every donation makes a difference. Your donations help provide all that is necessary to maintain and improve the quality of their lives while waiting to be adopted, and help make them more adoptable. Funds are allocated to dogs and cats in dire need of services first. 100% of donations go to the animals.

Donating 

For situations when taking a pet into your home may not be possible, we invite you to donate to PAWSitive Shelter Volunteers. Sponsoring with a donation alleviates some of the financial pressure from the volunteers and allows the dogs and cats to be provided with better food, necessary medical care, bedding, enrichment and more. We welcome you to visit the animals in person.


100% of donations are allocated for the benefit of the animals.
